Love love love All American. A quick hamburger drive in that has delicious burgers and cheap prices. The service is relatively quick. In the warmer months, there's sometimes a long line but it moves pretty quick and your food is ready quickly. It's a very small store with outdoor seating and a decent size parking lot.

On our short trip to Long Island someone suggested that we pop over to this burger place for lunch. This place has been open for 100+ years and let's just say the lines tell it all the burger I had that was a quarter Pounder and it was phenomenal. There is plenty of parking at this location and the line maybe took five minutes. We only waited maybe two minutes to get our food.

Can't beat the price for everything at all American. Went for a shake for $2.85 the other day and they are just delicious. The fries are still my favorite. Perfect fries and you get a lot. Only affordable takeout these days. We also celebrate about with I e cream next door at Marshall's as see in the pics.

HOW HAVE I NOT WRITTEN THIS REVIEW? When you come to LI, and you're looking for a burger there is no other place to go than All American. Your nostalgic old school burger joint that really hasn't changed much since it probably opened. COVID made them get credit card machine but I'm not mad about it. Burgers, hot dogs, grilled cheese, you name it and I've had it. It's all good. I promise. My most recent trip I enjoyed their sleeper hit: the fried shrimp. GET IT. Skip the craziness at Marshall's next door and just get a black and white shake here. It's just as good if not better.

Nearly every lifelong LI resident has mentioned all American to me at one point or another, typically with rave reviews. Delicious burgers at a great price. Years ago, I was dragged unwillingly and I vaguely recall having a burger and wondering what is the rave. Recently I went on my own and got 2 burgers only. I ate 1 at the outside seating and brought the other home to have later. I wound up having it the next day which I do not recommend. I enjoyed the burger I had outside and I say it's a great place for a burger if you want one. I went at 5pm on a Thursday and it started getting busy right after I ordered. Staff was efficient and service was quick. In the summer it must be a crazy busy place I went in the fall.

New to the area and everyone recommended this place. It's kind of an institution and very well known. There is always a line but if moves fast. The food is good and decent prices. It definitely has a old fashioned burger place. I have only been there once and will try again!

What can I say about All American? A Massapequa, NY institution. Great Burgers, great fries and onion rings, and great fried shrimp for my wife. They have updated how you order post-pandemic. One line heading in the east side of the restaurant and one exit on the west side. It seemed more efficient than the old free for all. The service was quick and friendly. The prices are still very good. Oh, I forgot about the great knishes. We go to All American probably 3 or 4 times a year.

What a legend! Been around forever. Food is cheap and good... I would give it a 4 star but the historic factor plays in. Menu is simple. Burgers. Fries, hot dogs, amazing kinishes, onion rings . Classic American burger with pickles, diced onion... $2.25! We got it all. It's a take out joint or sit outside. The line moves fast! If in the neighborhood or want to lunch destination. Go!

The name says it all: a classic walk up burger shop service basic burgers, fries, and shakes. If you want to relive the glory days of a traditional window service burgeria, this is the place to go. It absolutely feels like stepping back in time, pulling into the parking lot and walking up to the freestanding glass building, and eating at the picnic tables up front. The burgers are nothing incredible, just a classic old school fast food burger, coming in two patty sizes. The fries are pretty dang amazing so be sure to get some extra. Highly recommended for a nice throwback day!
